This coming weekend i’m pretty concerned as i’m about to come across the first stumbling block in my weight loss programme. The indian restaurant menu.
I have already blogged about what to eat when choosing fast food, chinese & italian….My little eating out bible means that i can eat pretty much any where without falling off track.
Its a friends birthday this weekend so needless to say it’s only fair they choose where to eat….they have chosen a local indian restaurant….darn Indian food is the one type of restaurant that lacks healthy choices.
I basically have 2 choices plain boiled rice and plain chicken tikka….possibly the driest and most unappetising dish on the menu….or choose a fattening dish that i quite enjoy and simply have a half portion….
i’m not a huge fan of indian food and already i’m worrying about possibly not losing weight because of an indulgence that wasn’t particularly tasty anyway….
I hope i’m strong enough to make that healthy choice.
