Following my recent swimwear features, today we take a look at Bandeau Swimsuits more closely. More women are moving away from bikini’s that make them feel body conscious on the beach and instead they are turning to sexy one piece swimsuits. One of the sexiest designs is the Bandeau one piece. A bandeau swimsuit is essentially means a strapless swimsuit and quite often has a straight across neckline though designs do vary.
Here we have picked out the hottest bandeau swimsuits from all your favourite high street stores and brands and at the bottom of the page you’ll find an online store featuring a wide range of Bandeau Swimsuits from more high street brands.
If your looking for a strapless Swimsuit but have a larger chest then this Freya Supernova Swimsuit is ideal for you. Freya are one of the most popular brands of swimwear for women with larger chests. I just love the bond girl style belt. It’s a great way to show off a tiny waist. Unlike many swimsuits this one is sized by cup size and is only available for women with larger cup sizes, DD upwards. Price £45.00.
Block colour swimsuits can draw attention to a less than toned tummy. Fear not with this Debenhams Body Con Swimsuit that won’t be a problem as it features discreet tummy control. It maybe plain but team it with a large brimmed hat and skyscraper wedges and you’ll look every bit the Hollywood starlet. It also features moulded cups to give you support and shape. The zip up back detail is pretty unique and it’s worth checking out the Debenhams website for a closer look. Price £34.00.
This Lattice print strapless swimming costume is by Jasper Conran for Debenhams. Bandeau Swimsuits tend to suit women with a medium bust size. Women with bigger boobs won’t get the support they need and if your to small you won’t be able to flaunt the bust detail that many of them have. Ideally they tend to suit women with a B Cup size. This swimsuit however, features removable moulded cups so if you are on the smaller side they will add the definition that you need. Price £38.00.
The keyhole detail on this Debenhams Swirl Print Swimsuit will draw all eyes upwards. Once again this swimsuit is built to flatter with hidden bust support and a tummy control panel. Who said that body control swimwear couldn’t be sexy? Price £38.00.
I love the colouring of this Lotus Flower print swimsuit. It also features a detatchable halterneck strap which may come in handy if your planning on hitting the water parks on holiday. Once again it features tummy control to really flatter your figure and to define your waist. Again this suit is great for women with smaller boobs as it features moulded cups to add shape and support. Price £30.00.
This Zig Zag Print strapless swimsuit is available is sizes 8-18 from John Lewis online. The indigo colour scheme will flatter most skin tones but will look particularly good on blondes. The square cut will particularly suit women with wide shoulders. Price £39.00.
I was really impressed with the range of swimwear at La Redoute. They sell swimwear for women of all shapes and sizes including maternity swimsuits and post operation swimsuits. This is possibly one of my favourite Bandeau Swimsuits that I have featured. It’s from the La Redoute Creation range. It features a pre-formed padded bra to give you a great curvy shape. It’s available in a wide range of sizes from 8 – 20. They are currently offering 20% off the original price bringing it down to £31.20.
I have featured a huge amout of black swimwear but for many women brown is more flattering alternative and a great way to show off your tan. This brown bandeau swimming costume is by Anne Weyburn so you can be assured of the quality. The detatchable straps may come in handy. It is lined with body shaping tulle to really make the most of your body. Price £45.00.
How pretty is this daisy print from Laura Ashley? It’s colourful without being gaudy. The drawsting detail on the hips is a great way to draw attention to slim hips. Available in sizes 8 – 18. The red background will look particularly good on fair skinned brunettes. Price £35.00.
Swimwear doesn’t get any more glamorous than this brightly coloured, Jewel Green Strapless One Piece, from the Limited Collection at M&S. M&S can always be counted on to for quality swimwear. Don’t worry if you have a small cup size as this swimsuit does have padding to give you a killer cleavage. The leg isn’t as high as many other swimsuits so it will suit taller women better than women with short legs. Price £29.50.
I just love the colour of this pink paisley swimsuit from Per Una at M&S. It features an option halterneck strap from times when a girl needs added security. It’s worth getting a closer look at the rear view as it features a super cute rear tie fastening. A vast range of sizes are available from 8 – 24. This is also one of the most affordable bandeau swimsuits that I have found at just £25.00 how can you go wrong?
I’m loving the unique design here. It looks like a tankini but it actually it’s a one piece. The empire band is particularly flattering as it draws the eye up to your bodies narrowest point giving the illusion of a tiny waist. I’ll take two!! It’s also available in black but the coral pink will look fabulous with a light tan and it’s also a flattering shade for pale skin tones. From the Portfolio range at M&S it’s once again a really affordable strapless swimsuit at just £25.00.
If your looking for swimwear on a budget then this pink floral print swimsuit from New Look is well worth a look. Take a closer look at the low cut design of the rear for maximum tanning potential. It feature a bikini design clasp across the back. It really is the most affordable bandeau swimsuit that I could find, priced at £20.00.
