I honestly can’t say enough good things about Wrap Dresses. They are my wardrobe staple for the winter months. I’ve decided that I need more than the four I already own so I’ve been on a mission to find the Best Wrap Dresses available to buy online for 2012.

This is the Isabella Oliver Classic Wrap Dress.  Like all good wrap dresses it’s made from a soft jersey fabric.  That’s one of the reasons why I love them, the jersey fabric is just so comfortable to wear.  This plain dress can be worn to the office or dinner with friends.  Choose a colour that flatters your skin tone from the 3 gorgeous winter colours available, Merlot Red as shown here, hot pink, Lagoon Blue or Caviar Black.  Size range 6 – 20.  Price £99.00.

Wrap style dresses aren’t just for smart day time looks as this Lipsy Arrogant Cat Greek Wrap Dress proves.  It combines two of my favourite looks, Wrap and Greek Goddess styling all in one gorgeous dress.  The softly gathered fabric is all pulled together with a waist tie for a nipped in look.  This stunning shade of cobalt blue is bound to turn heads a the party.  Price £149.00.

Many high street stores offer wrap dresses without the tie.  They offer the same flattering shape without the fiddly bit.  Another reason that I love these dresses is because if you put on a few pounds the fitted bodice and floaty skirt will still fit and will still look amazing they are very flexible like that.  Hobbs have a few wrap style dresses and many of them are currently in the sale at House of Fraser.  It was where I found this lovely Purple Hobbs Castella Dress.  It is the same shape as a class wrap dress without the tie.  This shade of Purple is perfect for Winter 2011 it can be worn with black or brown footwear.  Price was £89.00 Now £66.75.

I knew that I could count on Boden to come up with a really great Wrap Dress for this Winter.  We have mostly seen plain wrap dresses so far so it’s nice to see an unusual print from Boden.  The Boden Wrap Dress is available in 4 different colours.  Pictured here is the Charcoal Giant Marbles Print, this same print is available in Magenta Purple or if this print is too bold for your tastes why not choose the gorgeous Plain Emerald or plain but classic black.  This dress has long sleeves and is roughly knee length depending on your height.  It’s been a real hit with the Boden Customers and from recent reviews it has a 4.8 rating out of a possible 5 stars.  Size range 6 – 22 and they also offer a longer length for tall women.  Price £85.00 and in my opinion worth every penny.

If your shopping on a budget this flirty floral wrap dress from BooHoo could be for you.  BooHoo specialise in affordable and fashionable clothing for women.  Don’t think that floral dresses can just be worn in summer months for Winter why not team it with a pair of thick tights and a cardi.  This floral wrap dress is slightly shorter than the other styles so it’s a great way to flaunt fabulous legs.  The only drawback to Boohoo’s affordable fashion range is that the sizes are limited between size 8 upto size 16 so they don’t really cater for the plus size market.  Price £18.00.
