One of my favourite things about this time of year is choosing stylish Winter Hats to keep me warm but looking chic as the weather gets colder. It seems that every year the high street bring out more designs than ever to choose from.
I’ve been around many of my favourite high street online stores to find the most stylish Winter Hats available for 2012. I’ve selected a real mix of shapes and colours whilst also trying to cater to all budgets.

This year there are a huge amount of different styles available on the high street so there really is something to suit all tastes. If your looking for Winter Hats For Women that will never go out of style then a Beret is a good choice. You can wear them all the way through from Autumn to Spring. They are also a great choice for Women who have small heads like me. You can position them in a multitude of ways to suit you but if you haven’t worn a beret before you might want to practice in front of the mirror so that you know you don’t look daft when you put it on when a mirror isn’t available. I’m loving this plain wool beret from Miss Selfridge which comes complete with a cute black bow. Available in a choice of 2 colours, Camel as shown here or Red. Personally I’m loving the trend for Fur Hats this Winter they are a great way to channel your inner Joan Collins. There is no other way to look so glamorous whilst enduring the pain of a bad hair day. This Christie Hat from Jigsaw has been inspired by actress Julie Christie in Dr Zhivago so it oozes hollywood glamour. It’s best teamed with tailored outerwear and the only time it should ever be worn with an anorak quite frankly is if your wearing it on the ski slopes with a pair of huge sunnies. I thought this floppy beanie hat was very cute though I’m not sure I could pull this look off, I’m know though that many Women look great in this style of hat. Let me introduce you to the stunning and stylish Melissa Bow Hat from French Connection. Made from 100% Wool it a plain black wide brimmed design that features a not so plain, huge Black Bow detail. This design is perfect for those trying to achieve a look of retro glamour. It’s probably best that you don’t team it with Black outerwear as you may look a bit morbid but it would look fabulous if your wearing Red. Priced at £40.00 it’s the most expensive hat I have featured but that’s largely down to the material it’s made from. Whilst it is highly fashionable it won’t go out of style so you will get many Winters wear out of it.
